Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is technology that delivers both Data and DC power simultaneously, to devices over a single Ethernet cable, without separate power supplies or outlets. Many network devices support Power over Ethernet (PoE), such as CCTV, Android Time Clock Tablets, Digital Bell Timers, Network PoE Clocks, Network Audio IP Speakers and public address (PA) Systems and Intercom System.
Connect to the existing Ethernet infrastructure with the Wi-Tek PoE Equipment saving time and cost. Power over Ethernet PoE Tek simplifies installation by eliminating the need for separate power cables and electrical outlets.

PoE Injector
A PoE Injector is a network device that adds electrical power to an Ethernet cable, allowing it to power a compatible device like a wireless access point or IP Speaker without needing a separate power outlet at the device's location. It takes power from an AC outlet, converts it to low-voltage DC power, and injects both the power and data onto a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter.
The active PoE injector, is compatible with 802.3af/at and a safety feature in standard Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems that prevents damage to non-PoE devices. Before supplying power, the PoE injector performs a "handshake" using a low-voltage signal to ensure the connected device is PoE-compatible and can accept power. If the device is not compatible, the handshake fails, and the injector will not send power, protecting the device from electrical damage.
PoE+ Switch
The PoE+ Switch supports the network standard IEEE 802.3at, that provides higher power (up to 30 watts) to devices over an Ethernet cable than the original PoE Standard of 802.3af, which supplied a lower power up to 15.4watts.
Our PoE-Tek, PoE+ Switch supports VLAN Extend Mode for up to 250 meters
Break the PoE dsitance limitation of 100 meters. With Extend Mode, Wi-Tek PoE Switch provides robust and cost effective PoE equipment to power up your CCTV, Access Points and other PDs up to 250 meters away.
Where are Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices utilized?
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is utilized to power a wide range of networking and smart devices, such as wirelss access points (WAPs), security camers in both home or businesses.
